About Course

The Magic Blend of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Let’s end Summer with a peaceful and quiet moment with ourselves!
In one of my restorative yoga classes in London, I experimented with a way to increase your chances of feeling even more relaxed: blending restorative yoga and yoga Nidra.

I wove together the two calming practices, during which each restorative pose is blended with one or several stages of the simple practice of Yoga Nidra from the Himalayan tradition.

If you’re unsure, restorative yoga gently supports the body with props, allowing you to relax deeply and release tension.

Meanwhile, Yoga Nidra guides you into a state of conscious relaxation, easing stress and promoting restful sleep.

This combination is designed to soothe the nervous system, quiet the mind, and restore your inner balance. Whether you want to unwind after a long day or deepen your practice, this session offers a peaceful sanctuary.

No prior yoga experience is needed—just an open heart and a desire to relax!

Props for this session: Mat, bolster or thick cushions, smaller cushions for the head, blankets.
